Westborough Town Hall serves as the public face of Westborough and the hub of municipal activity. Elections are organized, taxes paid, property valued, maps produced, payrolls met, public health protected, recreation offered, policy initiated, and town departments coordinated in this historic venue. All Westborough residents benefit from its services. In 1839 a new Town Hall at 34 West Main Street replaced the old Meeting House. Complete with an outdoor bandstand, it was the site of town offices, including the library.

In 1929 the present Colonial-style Town Hall was built of red brick with wood and stone trim and Modernistic details. Its weathervane recalls the town's booming sleigh industry. At first, this Town Hall housed town offices plus the district court and police. Its auditorium held Town Meetings, graduations, proms, club socials and movies. In Memorial Hall tributes honored Westborough citizens who gave their lives in service of their town, state, and nation. The Westborough Town Hall was renovated in 2015. The improvements, including remodeled offices and an elevator, meet the needs of a 21st-century municipality
