Rotary
meetings include a great mix of fellowship, confirmations of community
service commitments, and learning about Westborough and Central
Massachusetts -- and the talents and interests of its members.
Project GEMINI (Global Emergency Medicine Iniative) is a Westborough
club driven program to provide emergency medicine supplies and training
to countries in need. Several club members are active in it. The
first week in February will feature a five day training program
in the South American country of Guyana. Pictured here are
Paul Gallagher, Westborough Rotary member and GEMINI chair, and Ovid
Fraser of the Southborough Rotary Club and Team Leader for the Guyana
Trip.

To learn more about GEMINI,
the Guyana project and emergency medicine click here. The project enjoys
support from many Rotary clubs and is always looking for new programs
and participants.
Club members contribute to Rotary efforts in many different ways. In
the photo below club member Ryan Maloney, owner of Julio's Liquors,
presents club president Paul McGrath a crash kit to
show the affects of an accident, which the club will present to
Westborough High School for use in biology classes.

Over the next few weeks our club and many members of the Westborough
community will be working hard on the forthcoming fun-filled May 5-6
Westborough Spring Festival, centered on the beautiful Bay State
Commons. But the WSF is more than those two days because it actually
kicks off with another exciting basketball game at Westborough High
School between the Rotary Spokes all-star team and the dazzing Harlem
Ambassadors on March 31. Click here for
sponsorship information and continued updates.
